Transportation of Animals/Birds

The Animal Transport qualifications serve as a Licence to Practice. Certification is required if transporting animals or birds where the journey is in connection with an economic activity. It is also required to apply for a Type 1/Type 2 Transporter Authorisation Licence through the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA). The qualification is for animals or birds and is species specific.

0141-04 - City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in the Transport of Animals by Road (Short Journeys)

0141-06 - City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in the Transport of Animals by Road (Long Journeys)

This long distance qualification is for a Driver, we also offer the Attendant qualification.
