PPE & Equipment
PPE must be provided by the Candidate
Your trainer should have informed you of the PPE requirements. If you have had in-house training:
Chainsaw personal protective equipment (PPE) - HSE
Code of Practice for using Plant Protection Products - Annexes and end.pdf Page 140.
Aluminium Phosphides - a respirator (full face or hood types only) RPE filters B2 plus P3 for particulates, is required in addition to PPE listed above.
Land based machinery (tractors, ATV, forklift truck) - high vis jacket, safety boots, safety helmet (ATV).
Equipment must be provided by the Candidate (unless agreed with the Training Provider or NPTC in advance)
