About Us
We are an independent, not-for-profit City & Guilds assessment centre offering Level 2 and Level 3 Certificates of Competence in land based qualifications. We've been providing National Proficiency Testing Council (NPTC) assessments for over 30 years throughout Norfolk and surrounding areas.
Assessments can be conducted without formal training - you may be trained by experience gained in the workplace or received in-house training from your employer. If training is required we can recommend training providers throughout East Anglia. Assessments are usually conducted at your training provider's site, or your own site.

Battery-Powered Machinery Options launching September 2026
Eight City & Guilds core Machinery Certificates of Competence are being updated to give candidates the option to gain certification for battery-powered equipment as well as (or instead of) traditional fuel-powered machinery.
Qualifications (CoCs)
We offer over 90 Level 2 and Level 3 Certificates of Competence (CoCs) and CPD/Refresher modules. City & Guilds qualifications are life-long - there is no expiry date (with the exception to Vertebrate Pest Control for Rats and Mice (PA-R&M)), however regular refresher training must be undertaken.
