City & Guilds Level 2 Award in the Safe Application of Pesticides Using Self-Propelled, Mounted or Trailed Horizontal Boom Sprayers (PA2) (0216-74)

Independent Assessment

If your job involves applying pesticides in a commercial role then you are legally required by the Plant Protection Products (Sustainable Use) Regulations (2012) to take this qualification.

This qualification is designed for those who wish to use either self propelled, mounted or horizontal boom sprayers. 

The assessment will take place on a separate day to the training course (if applicable).

Units available: 
290 - Mounted, trailed and self-propelled hydraulic nozzle or rotary atomiser horizontal boom sprayers (PA2A)

291 - Vehicle mounted kerb sprayers fitted with hydraulic nozzles/rotary atomisers (PA2AR)

292 - Mounted or trailed band sprayers (PA2B) Mounted or Trailed Band Sprayers (PA2B) 

293 - Mounted, trailed and self-propelled twin fluid nozzle horizontal boom sprayers (PA2C)

294 - Mounted, trailed and self-propelled downward air assisted horizontal boom sprayers (PA2E)  

295 - Mounted or trailed wick/brush type applicators (PA2F)
